For nearly 70 years, AMA Lighting has represented quality lighting manufacturers and supported the architectural lighting community across the Gulf Coast region. Founded in 1956 and originally headquartered in New Orleans, AMA built a strong regional presence with offices in Baton Rouge and Shreveport, Louisiana; Jackson, Mississippi; and Mobile, Alabama – establishing long-standing relationships throughout the professional design and construction community.
In 1989, the Mobile office became independent, forming AMA Lighting, LLC. Since that time, AMA Lighting has continued as an independent representative, serving the professional architectural and engineering community, electrical distributors, and electrical contractors throughout Southern Mississippi, Alabama, and Northwest Florida.
Our team includes distributor and contractor sales consultants, electrical engineers, lighting designers, NCQLP-certified lighting consultants, lighting controls engineers and specialists, and application engineering professionals in both lighting and controls. This expertise is supported by a market-segmented inside sales group and a dedicated customer care team—allowing us to deliver technically precise solutions with exceptional responsiveness.
